WHAT ARE PERFUME OILS AND WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS~

Perfume oil dates back hundreds and hundreds of years, the earliest recording of a perfume oil was being used in ancient, religious ceremonies. The ancient Indians, Romans and Egyptians all used perfume oils or solidified perfume oils in their funeral rites and in other sacred rituals. Not until the 17th century did perfume begin its use as a beauty ritual for both men and woman <3
Scent as been used in history and modern times as tool to alternate your consciousness, check out aromatherapy!

+The base of a perfume oil is usually a botanical oil knows as a carrier oil, it may be grape seed, coconut, sweet almond, apricot or joboba. Usually a base of beeswax is used to form a solid perfume. There are plenty oils to choose from and they all have their own individual benefits for the skin.
+The fragrance of a perfume oil or solid perfume comes from the use of essential oils which are liquids expressed from herbs, trees barks, resins, flowers and other plant materials under steam distillation. Also artificial fragrances can be used but these are becoming less popular due to health concerns. I do sometimes use fragrance oils on occasions to enhance a certain idea and scent in my perfumes but I try to avoid this as much as possible. Always look at my ingredients if you are concerned of this.

+Perfume oils contain no alcohol which can be extremely drying to the skin and has a tendency to create perfumes that are overbearing to the nose. Oils not only moisturize and soften skin but delicately sink into your pores and can create a longer lasting fragrance that doesn't over do it. No one likes that ladies perfume or mans cologne that obnoxiously takes over the entire room :)
